About Unik Filtersystem AS
The company is based in Os, a small town just outside Bergen, Norway. We produce products for water treatment and our main markets are fish farming and drinking water. Unik Filtersystem are based upon unique products shown to be strong in many ways, simple and effective. We always try to make the solutions as simple as possible, saving money and time for our customers.
The company's economy is solid and we have more than twenty years of experience with our products, reference list is available if asked for.
UNIK ROTARY FILTER / CHANNEL FILTER.
This filter is the origin of our company. It started out when some fish farmers asked for a filter to use on the inlet - water for fish farming. They needed a filter that could run continual , have automatic cleaning and high capacity. The answer they got was the rotary filter. This filter is built for sensitive filtration of inorganic and organic matter. The water flows unhindered - practically without any head loss - through the filter screen. The best of materials are used against corrosion and weather. The unit demands very little maintenance and supervision.
The filter can be provided with filter cloth from 10 to 3000 micron, there is no limits on the capacity as the filters can easily be built into systems with several filters. We have four standard diameters on the filters, 450, 900, 1200 and 2000 mm. They can be placed in a channel ore in a box. The flushing water can be lead to a tank for sedimentation of the particles while the water can be lead back in front of the filter. The need of electricity is very small.
Use: Fish farming, Drinking water, industry and Municipal wastewater , etc.
UNIK FILTERSYSTEM AND EXPORT - How does it work?
Unik has exported, mainly Rotary filters, to over 30 countries. We do not have any export - department, but serve our dealers in some countries, the rest is arranged from Norway.When we get an order we start producing the product. Our delivery terms are FCA Os, payment terms CAD, cash on delivery.
For bigger units we always send some extra spare - parts along with the product.
Most of the spare parts can be provided local, if not we send them from Norway.
Service and maintenance must be done by local workers. The products are simple and there should be no problems in this matter. For bigger units we will send our own workers for installation and training.
